You may remember that I wrote this article in humour about McDonalds burgers. Well I decided to show McDonald’s how to really make a burger!
McDonald’s is running a competition where customers are invited to create their own burger. I decided to submit a Doctor Who inspired sandwich called Badwolf!. The Badwolf is something different, new. Just like Rose Tyler AKA Bad Wolf portrayed by Billie Piper, it’s modern, so it combines flavors and influences around the world. It’s has bold, intense flavors which reflect Rose’s strong assertive character. Which are delivered by the many hidden layers. Well I could go on but it doesn't exist yet. But with your help this burger could become reality.
If a Doctor Who burger sounds crazy. Well think again, I discovered that French fast food chain Quick had huge success with their Star Wars inspired burgers. In particular the “Dark Vador” burger which featured a black bun.
The Badwolf burger doesn’t feature any gimmicks like a black bun, but frankly the Dark Vador looks burnt and you have to wonder what they used to give the bun the black colour. My object is quite simple really, I just thought as a Doctor Who fan it would be cool to have a Doctor Who themed sandwich. In-fact I don’t even know what the prize is on offer. To be honest I doubt this burger will win and even if it does as soon a McDonald’s discover it is a Doctor Who themed burger chance are are is will be disqualified for trademark and copyright reasons
But nothing can stop you from making your own Badwolf! sandwich. Imagine tucking into a Badwolf! burger while you relax in front of the TV to watch your favourite TV show Doctor Who.
